Training Camp Registration, Payment & General Info

 This is a Teacher Training Class and NOT just a painting class.  You will be given LOTs of information relating to teaching, holding classes, using products and tools for classes so bring your notebook for lots of note taking and expect a portion of class will be lecture.

Any level of OS Painter can attend and benefit from the classes offered

GENERAL CLASS INFO:
Doors open at 8:30am for you to set up BUT we will be working until 9am and class begins.   Major set up and supplies will be done the night before but we will be doing some morning prep, so the time between 8:30am until class starts at 9am is your set up and social time as we finish our work.  No early entry so don't plan on arriving before 8:30am.  Because we need to begin right at 9am, everyone attending MUST be pre-registered- no registration at the event.
Non-refundable registration UNLESS TC is cancelled, then 100% is returned.
 
NO coffee or snacks will be waiting for you when you arrive.  Our class location varies throughout the country and because we travel to teach we cannot pack the coffee maker in our suitcases so you need to bring anything special you want to have with you, including morning coffee, drinking water or other supplies.
 
PLEASE use www.mapquest.com or other service to find lunch, snack & local hotel info-  we are from out of town too so will not know local area info. 
 
NOTE:  All of the information regarding hotels/restaurants found on this site was taken directly from a "map quest" search of properties nearest a location.  None of the hotel information has any warranties or guarantees of any kind.  Using any of the hotel information is at your own risk and should be researched for prices, locations etc.

Don't wait to sign up for a Training Camp because you think it might cancel.  I promise you if you don't sign up-- it WILL cancel.  If a camp is cancelled by a Trainer
 
100% of any fees paid will be transferred OR returned per the attendee's choice

 

Important Registration & Payment Info-

1.  Registration and payment  MUST be made before the event.  Because of scheduling and best use of teaching time on class day- ALL attendees MUST be registered in advance...no registration at the event.

2.  Because of my teaching and travel schedule plus the number of times it takes playing phone tag back and forth....  I cannot call to get credit card numbers and registrations over the phone.  I apologize for any inconvenience,  but I am traveling and teaching all the time and I am afraid these kinds of things will fall through the cracks. 

Paying through the website links or faxing the registration form is best.  A fax machine can be found through your office or a friend, OR at a copy place such as Office Depot or Kinkos etc.  There are also free fax programs you can find online to fax from your computer (do a google search for a list of many companies.)  Again I apologize for any inconvenience but I know how important your registration is to you and I want to lessen any situation that might cause an error.

How to Register for Training Camps- 

14 days or more, before a Training Camp registration may be mailed or faxed in, or pay by PayPal through the website.  Click HERE for a registration form.

8-14 days before a Training Camp registrations cannot be mailed because they might not arrive in time.  So registrations must be faxed in to the number on the form OR use PayPal buttons on this website.

7 days or LESS before a Training Camp registrations can ONLY be made with PayPal through the website.  I am probably on the road getting ready for the Training Camp and am not home to get faxes OR mailed registrations.  Again because of traveling I cannot call for credit card #s or phone registrations.  

Payment Types-  See above for pay-by-date instructions

1.   PayPal-  BEST WAY
When you pay with PayPal you will get an automated email receipt.  THIS is your payment confirmation.   I cannot always confirm each payment personally.  ALL information required for the Training Camp can be found on the TC web page, including supplies, class location, times etc.  NO other information will be sent so please look online for all necessary info needed for class.

2.   Fax-  2nd BEST WAY
Click Here to download the registration form.  Fill it out and fax it to Julie at 360-893-6916 8 or more days prior to the Training Camp.  IF you want a confirmation, email me saying you faxed/mailed your form, and did I get it-  I will email back a confirmation.  If you don't have an email address, ask a friend to have the confirmation be sent to them.

3.  Mail-
Print the registration form and fill it out completely and include payment info or MO/Check and mail to the address on the form.  See 2. Fax- above for instructions for getting an email confirmation. 

4.  Email-
DO NOT email credit card information.  You can email the registration form and then call my phone to leave a message with your credit card info.  Use the same fax deadline dates. 

Registration Confirmation-

PayPal payments/registrations will receive an automated email receipt, this is your confirmation.. no other confirmation will be received.

Mailed, Faxed or Emailed registrations will only get a confirmation if you email a request, stating how you sent in your registration and when.  We are not responsible for emails not received due to spam filters, incorrect email addresses or other email problems.  If you do not get an answer back within a reasonable amount of time, email again and assume I did not get the first one.  If you don't have an email address, ask a friend if you can have the confirmation sent to them on your behalf. 

If you are unsure if I received a last minute registration, bring a copy of your payment/ registration form or PayPal receipt with you the day of class.  Remember you cannot register the day of the event.

 

 

WANT a Training Camp in your area?

If you gather 20-30 attendees and can find a classroom, email me and we can set up a date for a camp.


Guidelines for having a Training Camp in your area include finding a location in an area that will support 30-50 attendees.
The location MUST have the following:
1.     Be in a location where there are enough OSCIs, OS Teachers or OS
        Painters that can support an event.  (if there are only 3 OSCIs,   
        in a whole state, that might not be a good place to set one up.)
2.     Be located near enough to an airport that the teacher and other    
        attendees can easily get to it.
3.     Be near hotel and restaurants.
4.     Has a classroom large enough to fit 30-50 students comfortably.
        a. 2 students per 6 foot table or 3 students per 8 foot table.
        b. Class room set up will allow all attendees to have a clear view of
        and hear the teacher.
5.     Classroom cost be within budget (
email Julie for specific info.)
6.     A local church makes a GREAT classroom.  Churches do not like to rent
       to outsiders so if you have or know of someone with church facilities,
       that is a great place to start.
